ASU Continuing and Professional Education is an educational provider for the Project Management Institute. This bundle of online Project Management Professional (PMP)® courses provides students the skills and hours necessary to sit for the PMP® exam, renew their project manager skillsets, or maintain their PDU's as a project manager.
Prepare for your PMP® certification with or without experience:
Get on track to earn your PMP® certification or renew your project management skillset in this all-inclusive bundle of Project Management courses. In this series, students learn from and receive every continuing education course ASU offers in project management.
This online Project Management Certificate provides students with the 36-project management educational hours needed to qualify to sit for the PMP exam certification through the Project Management Institute. This certificate program does not automatically enroll you in the PMP certification. Learners need to apply with the Project Management Institute and be accepted before sitting for the PMP exam. Looking to earn your PMP certification? This PMP certification from ASU Continuing and Professional Education is 36 hours of content, after which you can sit for the PMP exam certification through the Project Management Institute.
Earn PDUs to maintain your PMP® certification:
This course series is also excellent for professional PMPs who seek to refresh their skillset and earn professional development units (PDUs) to remain certified as a project manager. The Project management Institute (PMI) asserts that professional project managers earn 60 hours of PDUs every three years. By taking this course bundle, students will take all 12 courses which contain videos for learning, exploring specific features of Microsoft Project 2016*, and assessments to check their understanding of the concepts. Each course is considered 3 PDU credits, for a total of 36 PDU credits after taking the 12 courses.
Develop project manager skills and competencies:
This project management course bundle includes 12 PMP courses ($299 each, or all 12 for $3,000) which contain videos for learning, exploring specific features of Microsoft Project 2016* and assessments to check their understanding of the concepts. Each course is considered 3 PDU credits, for a total of 36 PDU credits after taking the 12 courses.

- Identifying and Selecting Projects
- Developing Project Proposals
- Defining Scope, Quality Responsibility, and Activity Sequence
- Developing the Schedule
- Resource Utilization

- Project Management Organizational Structures
* If students would like to complete the steps as outlined in the tutorials, they will need Microsoft Project 2016 and the accompanying file(s) from the course to practice the processes shown in the videos.
This program is based on the PMBOK 6th edition, and may not fully prepare learners for the revised PMP exam. However, this program still qualifies for PDU's for any existing PMP to maintain their PMI certification.

Meet the instructors:
Denise Bates, Ph.D.
Denise E. Bates holds a Master’s Certification in Project Management and is Assistant Professor of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. She studies leadership in indigenous communities, with a particular emphasis on inter-generational mentorship, project implementation and community development.
William Erwin
Bill Erwin is an Instructor for Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies. As the owner of Life Design, Inc., Erwin provided training, training design, and organizational development services to numerous corporations, and governmental and nonprofit organizations for over 25 years. He has taught at several Arizona colleges and universities, and also served as the Mayor of Flagstaff in Arizona.
Erica Buschatzke
Erica Buschatzke holds a Master of Public Health Practice. She earned her MPH studying the relationship between continuing education and health education. Today, she spends her days managing multiple projects for the Faculty of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies, and specializes in multiple forms of Project Management.
Jennifer Chandler, Ph.D.
Jennifer L. S. Chandler, Ph.D. is a Lecturer at Arizona State University who teaches in the Organizational Leadership Program in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Before joining ASU, she led projects, taught project management, trained project managers, and evaluated Project Management Programs for over 20 years working with international corporations, federal agencies, and national professional associations. She currently researches leadership practices among scientist and engineering teams who tackle global sustainability challenges.
Matthew Rodgers
Matthew Rodgers is an Instructor for Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. His academic interests are varied and include South American literature, contemporary film studies, postmodernism, organizational studies and leadership, and design. In his free time he enjoys building websites, Jack Russell Terriers, and creating engaging learning environments. He also likes talking to students.
