Meet the instructor


Gary Naumann, MBA

Gary Naumann is the Hahnco Professor of Entrepreneurship and a Professor of Practice at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Gary has taught small business management/entrepreneurship courses across undergraduate, Full-time MBA, Evening MBA and Executive MBA platforms over the past 25 years, both here at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and previously at the University of California Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business.

Prior to and concurrent with his teaching, he has worked with and for small businesses in the fields of accounting, general management, banking, corporate finance and consulting. In addition, he has co-founded, built, operated and sold his own small business.

Gary holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
