What you'll learn:

Now that we have gone through the steps of developing the schedule, we can discuss what it takes to successfully execute it. To control the schedule is to monitor the status of the project, apply updates as necessary, and manage changes to the schedule baseline.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the inputs, tools & techniques, and outputs associated with monitoring and controlling the project schedule
  • Identify several techniques that can be used to control a schedule and optimize resources
  • Describe how work performance information and change requests are used to monitor and control a project

Denise Bates - Professor

Denise E. Bates holds a Master’s Certification in Project Management and is Assistant Professor of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. She studies leadership in indigenous communities, with a particular emphasis on inter-generational mentorship, project implementation and community development.
