What you'll learn:
Customer service is a large part of many organizations and companies. Employees are often tasked with handling difficult situations and providing excellent customer service to everyone that interacts with their brand. Lack of understanding in properly helping customers has the potential to hurt professional growth and career development. In this course, you’ll learn everything relating to successful customer service, including how to interact with customers and dealing with unexpected situations.
Modules and Content:
Students will learn key concepts and skills required for working with customers. The course presents real-world problems for students to test these new concepts and skills for working with customers.

- Understanding customer service basics.
- Communicating empathetically.
- Asking questions to understand problems.

- Coping with angry customers.

Meet the instructor
William Erwin
Bill Erwin is an Instructor for Arizona State University. As the owner of Life Design, Inc., Erwin provided training, training design, and organizational development services to numerous corporations, governmental, and nonprofit organizations for over 25 years. He has taught at several Arizona colleges and universities and served as the Mayor of Flagstaff.
