Earn a certificate in Agile

The popularity of Agile is growing. Nearly 46% of organizations now report using Agile or a hybrid Agile approach to manage projects, according to a study from the Project Management Institute. An Agile certificate can help you gain skills using this popular project management method.

This certificate includes four courses covering beginner and intermediate Agile concepts. You'll master the principles of Agile and learn how to manage a successful Agile project management team.

The courses in this bundle include:

Each course presents information in a simple and easy-to-understand format. Most courses also include case studies that simulate the typical challenges that occur on Agile projects. These case studies can help you gain practical experience in identifying and solving the common problems you may face while working on or leading an Agile project management team.

Upon completion of the Agile bundle, you may choose to sit for the Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam. We offer two courses to help you prepare for the exam with PMI-ACP training and practice tests. Get a 20% discount on these courses when you complete the Agile project management bundle. Email cpe@asu.edu for the code.

Project management skills from four courses

This course bundle starts with an exploration of Agile principles. You'll gain an in-depth understanding of the Scrum framework for implementing Agile and learn the specifics on the Scrum workflow.

Later courses in the bundle will help you understand how to navigate Agile and Waterfall integration. You'll also learn how to solve potential communication and collaboration challenges that may arise on your Agile team.

Courses in the Agile certificate will teach you how to:

  • Apply practical tips from experienced practitioners to resolve common Agile team problems.
  • Define agile development and differentiate it from traditional Waterfall practices.
  • Describe the stages of the Scrum cycle and show how these stages combine to meet evolving customer needs and requirements.
  • Recognize the problems that Agile and Waterfall collaborators contend with on a regular basis.

Why earn this certificate in Agile project management?

This is not an official Project Management Institute certification. But this certificate is a way to revitalize an existing skill set, learn Agile project management for the first time or prepare for the certification test with PMI. With this bundle, you’ll also save money on all the Agile project management trainings we offer.

The material in these courses goes beyond Agile principles and philosophy. It also includes practical tips to help you apply what you’ve learned to your current job or organization. After completing this course bundle, you’ll be able to maximize the performance and success of your Agile team.

Who this Agile project management bundle is for

These Agile courses are for anyone who is looking to better understand Agile project management. This certificate can help you improve your current skill set, make a career change or prepare for the PMI-ACP certification exam.

The first two courses start at the beginner level and expect no prior Agile experience. Later courses in the bundle are at the intermediate level. They will cover more advanced concepts with the expectation that you have some previous Agile knowledge.

What you gain from this Agile course series

You’ll earn a professional certificate and a badge you can place on your LinkedIn profile to show your mastery of the Agile project management methods.
