What you'll learn:

Developing a schedule is the process of analyzing sequences, durations, resource requirements, and schedule constraints to create a schedule model for project execution, monitoring, and controlling. In this course, we will take everything we have learned in the previous project scheduling courses and bring them together to generate the actual schedule with planned dates for completing project activities.


Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the inputs, tools & techniques, and outputs associated with developing a project schedule
  • Identify how to employ the critical path method and identify why it is important
  • Identify at least two data analysis techniques that can be used during the schedule development process
  • Evaluate different causes for project failure and assess avoidance measures

Denise Bates - Professor

Denise E. Bates holds a Master’s Certification in Project Management and is Assistant Professor of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. She studies leadership in indigenous communities, with a particular emphasis on intergenerational mentorship, project implementation and community development.
