A Conversation about Empathy

Empathy can make a positive in the lives of both those who offer and those who receive it. We will begin this conversation with a set of questions about the nature of empathy and how participants have experienced empathy in their lives. The list of questions will be relatively long, and participants will suggest--on the spot--which question(s) to address first. After discussing the questions, participants will suggest ways that they hope to engage in acts of empathy in the future. The workshop leaders will also provide a list of resources at the end of the workshop.
