Getting to the Heart of the Problem

Learners examine the role of the problem statement as the foundation for enabling innovative thinking and creating a space for transformative solutions. Problems and opportunities exist within a situation and are experienced by "users". One of the many reasons solutions fail is due to a poorly understood and scoped problem. We will apply the Design Thinking methodology to frame a user-centered problem hypothesis that will allow for out-of-the-box thinking.
