Fake News: Still a Thing

60-minute session on disinformation, political and otherwise, and what we can do to recognize it and deal with its effects. Disinformation campaigns will almost certainly still continue, no matter the result of the 2020 election. We need to be able to anticipate these and counteract them, particularly in terms of preserving traditional social systems and civility. Applications of disinformation include politics, religion, medicine, academics, and history.
