What you'll learn:
The activities that you perform first on a project are always determined by the project scope. The Defining Scope, Quality Responsibility, and Activity Sequence course introduces you to the project scope document, quality, and activity sequence. You’ll learn how to define what activities need to be done, who will be responsible for them, and in what sequence they will be performed. This course covers techniques and tools used to plan the work items, and the activities that need to be performed in order to successfully accomplish the project objective.
Concepts in this course support the following Project Management Knowledge Areas of the PMI Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide):
- Project Integration Management
- Project Scope Management
- Project Quality Management
- Project Resource Management
- Project Procurement Management

A lecture clip from ASU faculty introduces the topic. During the course, students will watch a video that features an expert sharing tips about developing baselines for scoping a project.
