In this class, you’ll master how to make a presentation with the most popular software applications: Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides. This course will guide you in creating and delivering a successful business presentation to your next audience.
Learn business tools for an effective presentation
In this course, you’ll study how to generate and present business works to an audience. You’ll be able to review and study the entire course module at your own pace with a variety of instructional materials including slides, short videos and web narratives. At the end of this presentations course, you’ll be able to do the following:
- Create a presentation intended for business meetings.
- Create a presentation using Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Identify common presentation tools.
- Understand the benefits of utilizing visual aids.
This course’s study plan starts with a short pretest to assess your business writing skills. This ungraded status report provides an opportunity for you to begin thinking critically about everyday business matters that may arise in an organization. Meet the instructor
Michael Rubinoff, PhD
Michael Rubinoff is a historian and faculty member of The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University. Since 1997, he has taught a wide array of traditional and online courses within the interdisciplinary studies and organizational leadership programs (core classes, special topics and electives) and American history. Prior to ASU, Professor Rubinoff resided in Washington, D.C. for 17 years. There, he served in administrative and writing capacities with major research organizations and was appointed as a deputy assistant secretary in the International Trade Administration U.S. Department of Commerce. He managed a $13 million grant program, including 10 regional offices operated with major universities and private sector partners.
