Academic Survival as a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Student

Many culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) students have barriers to academic success in speech and hearing. Many undergraduate students enter the field, but do not go on to graduate school because they do not know how to access the “hidden curriculum.” The purpose of these sessions will be to develop strategies that will lead to academic success. Students will be invited to openly discuss their “triumphs and challenges” as CLD in speech and hearing in an open forum.
