Movement Science Video Competition
Due to the pandemic, more individuals, teams and patients are being shifted to virtual activities. Participants will utilize a standard video template to create and submit 2-3 minute physical activity videos that address one of the following activity areas: Resistance Training Exercises Rehabilitation Exercises Functional Flexibility/Mobility Movements Agility or Speed Development Drills Core or Stability Movements Faculty will judge the submissions based on quality of presentation and professionalism in directions. Chosen videos will be invited to film in facilities to create a library of movement videos that will be uploaded to a private CHS Youtube channel to share with community partners and groups needing access to these exercises. The best video(s) will receive a badge and be featured on CHS social media. Screen reader support enabled. Open to Students in Kinesiology, Sports Science and Performance Programming, and Exercise & Wellness degree programs or members of the Athletic Affinity Network. Time Commitment: This work-at-your-own-pace experience depends entirely on you! We estimate about 2.5 hours of effort. Instructions will be provided once you register.
