Jazz MEETS Poetry

Through an engaging and interactive series of workshops we will explore a collaborative framework for creation drawing on two American art forms- jazz and poetry. We intend to highlight process oriented techniques that include improvisation, call and response, and openers to the unfamiliar. By doing so we intend to connect an audience with a variety of creative possibilities born out of empathetic openness and vulnerability.
