Survive and thrive in the zombie apocalypse
The Zombie Apocalypse Medicine Alliance (ZAMA, www.zombiemed.org) is a radically interdisciplinary coalition of scholars that bridges science and the arts to grapple with the most pressing challenges of the present and the future. ZAMA will create 3 hours of live programming and 20 hours of previously recorded material themed according to each of the weeks during innovation quarter.
We will be live streaming shows on ZAMA's flagship station, Channel Zed (via multiple platforms including https://www.youtube.com/c/channelzed) on Mondays at 10:30. Tentative schedule:
- Dec 14: Brain Dead Theater on horror movies of the holidays
- Dec 21: Eat Prey Run episode about feeding a crowd in the ZA
- Jan 4: Go Bag Challenge on new year's resolutions to be prepared
After the live stream on Mondays we will host an informal chat with Channel Zed creators Mondays from 11-11:30 on Zoom. Attendees will learn about how we put together the shows, find exciting guests, come up with show outlines, how we handle sound and video quality, and also how setup live streaming to multiple destinations and manage the live stream in real time.
If you’re still hungry for more brains, you can watch Channel Zed’s weekly playlist, themed especially for Innovation Quarter and featuring previously live streamed shows from Channel Zed including our news show, Undead Live! and our medical survival show, The Dr. Zed Show.
