The Foundation of Agile Concepts

An increasing number of teams and companies are realizing the potential of Agile to improve communication and workflow procedures. This course can help you adapt to these changes and learn Agile methodology. From theory to workflow, this course covers all the important fundamentals of Agile project management.

The course starts with Agile basics and covers important terms unique to the Agile method. You’ll also learn the principles of Agile and discover different methodologies you can use to adapt to an Agile system. The Agile basics in this course provide an introduction to the more advanced Agile concepts on the Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Exam.

Meet the instructor


Susan Wynn

Susan Wynn has spent her 20+ year career in administration and information systems working within academic, government and nonprofit entities. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®. She practices project management skills as a senior data analyst and technical program manager at Arizona State University's Office of Planning and Budget. She also regularly instructs on project management topics both in the community and at ASU.

Susan is involved with the ASU Project Management Network as a staff advisor after having co-founded the employee-led initiative and served as its inaugural president in 2014. She also volunteers as the assistant vice president of membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Phoenix Chapter after having served in past roles with PMI Phoenix as a board member, financial director and member ambassador director.

Susan is a project management evangelist who enthusiastically enjoys presenting workshops to help people live and work more effectively through project management.
