What you'll learn:

Talking about planning for promotions, making career changes, and preparing to leave a job, is a vision of how you want the future to unfold. The time to start planning for the future and managing your career is now. While it can be overwhelming, you’ll learn that career management involves instructions for proper behavior, how to overpower negative advice, and advice to maintain professional attitudes at all times.


Modules and Content:

In this course, students will be presented key concepts and examples to help them plan and manage their career. The activities provided in the course will support students as they apply what they are learning to their career goals.

Meet the instructor


Mai Trinh, PhD

Dr. Mai P. Trinh joined Arizona State University as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts in August 2016. She is an expert in leadership development, group dynamics, experiential learning, complex dynamic systems, and adaptability.
