What you'll learn:

Generally speaking, employees believe that there are two primary reasons to act ethically: acting ethically is the right thing to do from a moral perspective; If you act unethically, then you might get caught and be punished.

While both of these are acceptable reasons to apply principles of ethics and social responsibility, there’s another reason to consider: In most cases strong ethical behavior leads to strong business results. Behaving ethically is actually good business.

This course will explore why ethics not only help businesses do the right thing, but they help do the right thing for bottom lines.

Elizabeth Castillo, PhD

Elizabeth A. Castillo is an Assistant Professor of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. She earned a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego after a 20-year career managing social enterprise organizations. She is an avid hiker and nature photographer.
